WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This workshop is for kids ages 7 to 9 and 10 to 12 who:
- want to feel more in control of their emotions
- experience worry thoughts that stop them from trying new things
- have big emotions that make it difficult for them to make good choices
- struggle to communicate their emotions to others
BY ATTENDING THIS WORKSHOP KIDS WILL:
Develop insight and empathy by understanding the connection of emotions to thoughts, body sensations, body posture, and behaviors.
Learn how the mind, brain, body, and breath work together to control flooded emotions.
Gain a number of tools to challenge worry thoughts, build mindfulness, increase gratitude, and calm the body, all which will result in kids being able to confidently work through challenges, problem solve, and make better choices.
Leave with a personalized toolbox full of handouts and visuals to help them feel confident, calm, and in control!
